Indigo gabbro’s properties were introduced to the crystal materia medica by Dr. Robert Gilbert of The Vesica Institute. Indigo gabbro sings songs of transmutation and centering. It is very rare in its abilities to transmute detrimental energies into beneficial energies, from the physical to the most subtle planes of existence. It is an Alchemist of the stone kingdom. Similar to obsidian, It can absorb detrimental energy, but unlike obsidian, it can transmute those energies into beneficial forces.

It is one of the few stones in the crystal kingdom that carries the indigo vibration, facilitating connection to the spiritual planes.

It also has strong centering forces.
